Línea Retro was introduced at the 35th Edition of the Havana International Fair
The return of a vitola and packaging that disappeared in the 1980s.
Announced at the end of 2017 by Habanos S.A., the Línea Retro finally arrives with its first cigar: the Romeo y Julieta Club Kings and Partagas the Capitol.
Actually, these two vitolas are re-editions of cigars dating from before the revolution, whose production was stopped in the 1980s.
Carefully arranged in an aluminium case with a “retro” look, inspired by original pocket cigar holders so popular in the 1970s, the Club Kings are Marevas (42 x 129 mm), a vitola still widely used by the Habanos S.A.brands. Otherwise known as Petit Corona, this size is considered one of the references for the cigar industry in Cuba.
